7 Year olds holloween costume - Help!?
My seven year old daughter and I went to a second had store the other day and she found the cutest (what I would call, old dance costume) that she wants to wear for holloween. The problem is I don't know what to put with it to make a costume. This is where I need your help. Like I said, it looks like a dance recital costume. It looks like a strappy tank dress but in silk. It has black and white verticle stripes and it has black lace going around the collar with a red bow in both the front and back and the same black lace going around the bottom. How can I make her a costume with this.
I was thinking that she could wear black tights, black leotard (to keep warm) and black flats. But then people will ask her what she is - and I don't even have an answer. I suppose we could try to find a black top hat and a batton or something. Any other suggestions?
you could really get into the black red and white thing..then get some black or red material and add a few hearts or spades..then she could get a little crown and be the queen of hearts (like cards) or queen of spades...it would be reallllly cute and original!
