I'm not wrong here, am I people?
Last year my BF got me nothing but cheap lingerie for Xmas (not even lingerie, like fishnet stockings & white tights & cheap undies), and I got very upset, crying & yelling at him. I thought it was more for him than me, and really NOT thoughtful. I explained to him that I just wanted a gift to demonstrate that he loves & "gets" me.
OK. Then last night, my BF was saying he was done with my Xmas shopping, so I jokingly asked, "you didn't get me nothing but underpants, did you?" (because I do have undies on my Xmas list)... He looked nervous and said that he did!! Only undies, again!!
I told him that's not going to cut it, and he acted sad, saying he had "put a lot of thought into it" (?!?!?!??!) WTF?
He's dense, right? Or is that an OK gift for your lady?

or he is winding you up
he may have gotten you something wonderful and wants to throw ou off the scent
asking about it is bound to have put pressure on his choice and he may be doubting what he has picked
i would wait and see what santa brings
and if its the same kinda thing as last year, you are gonne have to face it and accept that all next year you spend pointing out things perisdically that you like and hope he gets the hint
