Do you think I could pull this off (I think im too tall for the costume)?

Im 13 and I need a costume I love this one but I think im too tall for it im 5ft 9in they really need to make teen costumes for tall people. I don't like the adult ones BORING (no offense). I if it didn't fit I thought I could replace the socks with black leggings and put the skulls on the socks onto the leggings...somehow. Do you think I could pull this off or do you have other recommendations. If I cant find anything I might just make my own.
please note that im tall I have long legs and im skinny.
I think you could pull this off and if the skirt is too short just make your own no sew tutu in black tulle to go with it. In fact that might help the costume out a whole lot anyway.
Here is how to make one:

Class Assignment!?
So I am taking my adult class of students to the grocery store tonight. I need to think of some sort of assignment to give them! Does anyone have any clever ideas?
I have thought of a few things but nothing that is knocking my socks off!
They are in the age range of teens to adults and it is an English class!
Perhaps I should be more clear I am living in South East Asia...and they would like to go to the grocery store...so I need an assignment for the class!
Perhaps you could have each of them prepare a shopping list in English for a special meal they would like to prepare. Then go to the store and see how much each item would be and cost the special event, again using English as the language, so that you cover numbers as well.
Hope all goes well - it sounds enterprising.
