Daughter wants to wear red fishnets to her xmas dance and she's 9!!!?
I put my foot down if she wants to wear that at that age, but am i being too harsh? she has a school dance, for xmas, and wants to dress like a hannah montana thing. also she asked me buy her white stockings for her dance class in jazz, but is that the same as pantyhose? as she is going to dance in stocking feet only. single dad here needs help. red fishnets appropriate??
White stockings for jazz are fine. I took dance for 14 years when I was in school and I wore every color tights I could find. Just be sure you don't take her to Walmart after class. She really needs to wear her jazz boots/shoes. They have some at payless if she doesn't have any.
No, tights are not panty hose- they are thicker and virtually a dancing necessity.
As for the fish nets, it's when shes older you need to worry when she goes out like that. As long as her skirt decently covers her bottom, it should be okay. No heels though, she can go in slippers or flats or boots. After all dad, hannah wears them. Sometimes hannah even wears them with destroyed jeans. Wouldn't that look more Hannah hip honey?
