What on Earth is my cat doing?
OK...it discovered my friend's coat lying on the sofa. The coat has a soft, fuzzy fake-fur liner. It sank its teeth into the liner and started tugging it like it were beefy jerky, and violently kneading it with his paws, while purring ferociously as if it were the most fun he'd had in weeks. This went on for like 15 minutes before he retired out of apparent exhaustion.
Has he lost his mind, or is there some rationale behind this?
he was having fun.the kneading of the paws is usually a lifelong behavior thayt's a throwback to it's kittenhood.kittens knead their mothers nipple area to stimulate the milk flow.
